*XZ65 and XZ77 Alkali Soluble Plating Resist*
These resists form a smooth non-porous films which are fully resistant to most commonly used plating and pre-cleaning solutions. They are highly thixotropic plating resists suitable for the fine detail printing. XZ77's blue colour offers excellent contrast against a copper background. It is more easily removed after long drying time. XZ77 also offers better print quality than XZ65.
XZ65 is an opaque blue version is available which is specially formulated to avoid staining of sensitive substrates. A Special version of XZ77 (LV DB version) offers fast print speeds for roll to roll production and will totally dissolve in 3-5% caustic solution at 30-45OC. These resists are: Screen Defined thermal drying give good adhesion to brushed copper Will withstand plating chemistries up to pH10. Alkali Stripping, Can be stripped in solutions pH12-14 (Sodium or Potassium Hydroxide)
